SpinStream Proof / Evidence Disclaimer
Effective Date: [Month Day, Year]
Last Updated: June 18, 2026
SpinStream creates timestamped, referenceable proof records and digital artifacts. This page explains what SpinStream does and does not do.
1. SpinStream Is Not Copyright Registration
SpinStream is not copyright registration. SpinStream does not register copyrights with the U.S. Copyright Office or any other government copyright office. A SpinStream record is not a substitute for copyright registration. If you want the legal benefits of copyright registration, you should consider registering with the appropriate copyright office or speaking with an attorney.
2. SpinStream Does Not Provide Legal Advice
SpinStream is not a law firm. SpinStream does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, litigation advice, or court representation. No information on SpinStream should be treated as legal advice.
3. SpinStream Does Not Determine Ownership
SpinStream does not determine who owns a song, recording, beat, demo, artwork, video, or other creative work. A SpinStream record reflects information submitted or generated through the service. It does not prove by itself that the submitter owns the work, created the work first, has all necessary rights, or can commercially exploit the work.
4. What SpinStream Can Provide
Depending on the selected product or service, SpinStream may provide a timestamped record, referenceable artifact URL, submitted creator metadata, work title and creator name, file or artifact hash, registry or verification page, receipt or proof packet, optional blockchain transaction reference, and public or private presentation layer. These materials may help organize an evidence trail around a creative work.
5. No Guaranteed Legal Outcome
SpinStream does not guarantee that any record will be accepted by a court, agency, platform, distributor, label, publisher, attorney, or rights organization. SpinStream does not guarantee that a record will prove authorship, originality, ownership, priority, infringement, damages, chain-of-title, license rights, or any legal claim.
6. Accuracy Depends on Submitted Information
The usefulness of a proof record depends in part on the accuracy of the information and materials submitted. You are responsible for reviewing details before submitting, sealing, publishing, or purchasing a record.
7. Covers, Samples, Remixes, Remakes, and Collaborations
If your work includes third-party material, samples, covers, remakes, remixes, interpolations, beats, stems, loops, collaborators, or licensed materials, a SpinStream record does not grant rights to those materials. You are responsible for obtaining necessary rights, licenses, permissions, or clearances.
8. Public Records and Permanence
Some SpinStream records may be public or referenceable. Blockchain references, if used, may be permanent and outside SpinStream’s ability to remove or alter. Do not submit or publish information you do not want made visible or preserved.
9. Recommended Use
SpinStream is best understood as a practical evidence layer: a way to create a dated, organized, referenceable record around a creative work. It may be useful alongside other documentation, such as project files, emails, drafts, release records, copyright registrations, licenses, contracts, and attorney-reviewed materials.
