This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for SpinStream products and services.
1. General Rule
Because SpinStream products may involve generated records, custom artifact creation, hosting, registry entries, file processing, proof packets, and optional blockchain submission, refund availability depends on the stage of processing.
2. Free Products
Free checklists, free guides, free educational materials, or free trials do not require payment and are not subject to refunds.
3. Standard Proof Records
For a paid standard proof record, a refund may be available if the refund is requested before SpinStream begins generating, sealing, deploying, publishing, or delivering the record. Once a record has been generated, sealed, published, delivered, or made available, refunds may be limited or unavailable.
4. Sealed Artifacts
For a paid sealed artifact, a refund may be available before processing begins. Once SpinStream has generated, sealed, deployed, delivered, or made available the artifact, refunds may be limited or unavailable because the service has been performed.
5. Blockchain-Sealed Records
Blockchain-sealed records are generally non-refundable once a blockchain transaction has been submitted, broadcast, confirmed, or otherwise initiated. Blockchain transactions may involve third-party networks, fees, permanence, and technical processes outside SpinStream’s full control.
6. Technical Failure
If a technical failure prevents SpinStream from delivering the purchased service, SpinStream may, at its discretion, re-run the process, repair the record, provide a replacement record, provide a credit, or provide a refund.
7. User Error
Refunds may not be available for errors caused by inaccurate user-submitted information, incorrect files, incomplete rights information, mistaken purchases, duplicate submissions, or failure to review details before submission.
8. Infringing or Policy-Violating Submissions
SpinStream may deny refunds where a record, upload, or purchase involves infringing content, unauthorized materials, fraud, impersonation, false claims, abuse, illegal content, or violation of SpinStream policies.

10. Processing
Approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method where possible. Payment processors may take additional time to complete the refund.
